Stock photography is the supply of photo licensed for specific uses. Today, stock images can be presented online,some of the main sites include istockphoto.com ,shutterstock.com, , and http://www.dreamstime.com/ , fotolia.com.these are just the main ones that i find very easy to use.with these sites they show you everything from submitting photos to selling them and making a lil bit of extra money,now to the fun stuff. i will now tell you about these sites more in detail and how you can join them,
istockphoto.com
istockphoto.com is one of the big dawgs of the game. they offer very good payouts and is fairly easy to use, but on the downside it takes a lil while to get going.once you have sighned up you must take a quiz and after that submit 3 sample photos for them to review.they have pretty high standard making it harder to get approved photos but worth it.
shutterstock.com
shutterstock.com is very high up the ladder in the photography world, its very difficult to sell photos due to the fact unlike istock were you have to submit 3 sample images here you have to submit 10 and 7have to get approved. now dont let that discourage you id try out the easier sites first then try this site but it is still very good sight with a huge selection of pictures.

dreamstime.com is one of the easier sites i talked about before.the requirements to submit photos is lower they still pay a very good commision for the photos though.this site has a high payout per image which makes up for lower sales compared to other microstock agencies.they are concidered one of the most contrabutor friendly sites and they also are very leanient on submissions,i recomed this site very highly.

fotolia.com is another of the mid level stock photgraphy sites.this site is fairly easy to submit your photos to just like dreamstime.com but with fotolia you set your own prices for the stock photos that you sell.this site is definetly worth it if working with noumorous sites and can bring in a decent amount.
